What the Heck Does Free Economy Shipping on Orders over $99 Mean?

It means that we use a variety of economy shipping methods to get you your dry goods package in the fastest way possible. Your order will arrive within 2-5 business days, depending on your proximity to Austin, Texas. As of February 1, 2024, we are averaging 3 business days to east and west coasts. Our dynamic shipping rates are available at Cart and Checkout to select an alternate shipping method. Our dynamic rates are usually cheaper than most sellers flat rate.

What the Heck does Free Local Delivery Mean on Orders Over $89? And why don’t I see a radio button to click on to select Free Local Delivery when I live in an eligible zip code (at cart and check out)? I only see the Local Pickup button.

Free Local Delivery on Orders Over $89 means that if you live in one of the zip codes below, and you spent over $89 pre-tax and post discounts, you are eligible for free local delivery. You will have to note in the Order Notes box at checkout that you are eligible for free local delivery. Our nerds will contact you via email or text to set up delivery. There are five systems at the Cart and Checkout trying their best to play nice with each other, however, our Systems Engineer, Toddler Nerd, is working day and night on a smother solution. When Will My Order Be Shipped Out?

Orders received before 12:00p.m. CDT will be shipped out same business day (Please note that there maybe some exceptions such as oversized items or live goods). All other orders will be shipped out next business day. We try our best to ship out orders received after 12p same day, but the main factor is the carriers’ cut off time. I live in an eligible zip code for free local delivery, but I spent less than $89 on my order. Do I still get free local delivery?

No. However, there is free local delivery on any order amount with any local service. This means that if we have a service (service, maintenance, startup, emergency call, etc.) coming up, we will gladly bring any products you ordered to you.

I spent less than $89 in my Cart or Checkout and the system says “Eligible for Free Local Delivery”. Does mean that I beat the System and you have to give me Free Local Delivery anyway?

No. There is glitch in the Matrix (system) that our software engineer, Toddler Nerd, is feverishly working on to fix. She says she needs more time and resources, but we mostly find her playing with her toys. We reserve the right to limit Free Local Delivery if there are less than $89 in an order. Sorry, gas and insurance is expensive ya’ll.

Can you deliver my order, even if under $89, when you come and do any type of service or maintenance?

Heck yes! We’ll ask you if there are any products you need before we head your way.

My product is unused and still in the original packaging, but I had buyers remorse or my significant other saw the receipt, so I would like to return it. Is there a restocking fee and do you pay for return shipping?

If your item is unused and in its original packaging and unopened (including that darn cellophane stuff), then there is no restocking fee, but buyer pays for shipping back to the Fish Nerd Aquatics™ world headquarters. If the item is unused, in its original packaging (minis that darn cellophane stuff), but opened, then there is a 15% restocking fee and buyer pays for shipping back to the Fish Nerd Aquatics™ world headquarters.
